He said?

lol.  No, I'm just kidding.  You just worded it in such a way where you made it seem as though there was a chance he was not using drugs.

If he's not drying out, AAS is more of a HELP than a hurt.

The man is a strong machine, not a weak withering fragile man.

He's gonna live longer because he's strong.  Kidney function is altered by diuretics and water restriction.  Don's a huge man with years of training who uses medium.

Sorry not Don genius. I am defending him because I know the whole story and becaue I used to be a judgmental prick about his situation as well. Then once I got the whle sory my perspective was a but different.

Don long is a nice guy and a great bodybuilder. he looks unreal better than alot of pro's whoa re top tier.

if only he never had those kidney problems i truly believe he could have won an olympia.

its also amazing he is able to get back in shape after everything and look better than top tier pro's.

im sure he has everything measured healthwise, however i do confess that as a fan I am worried abit in case it could have a negative affect.

yeah I did it on the other board...again I didnt say ever or imply ever that he was or was not on anything...I also never said anything about the cause of his kidney problems. I have merely tried to challenge those who give a shit to look into the whole story but that would require a little efort and it is much easier to be negative and judgemental. I was just like most of you at one time thats all.

the Caveman is a contest here in Missouri, they call it the Caveman because up until a couple of years ago it was held at a place called Meramac Caverns which is a cave type of museum along the Meramac River, the contrest got kicked out of there because some of the staff of the place found needles and syringes in the back pump up rooms.

One of the most impressive pros around:

http://www.bodybuildingpro.com/donlongtohellandbackdvd.html

Is it possible Don was relegated to outside of the top 15 at the 2006 Atlantic City Pro as a disincentive to competition by the judges due to his health issues?

maybe  but he looks better in those pics here then he did in ac

The IFBB was given assurances and also required paperwork should anything happen to Don....by his personal Dr., himself, and his family.

Which is exactly why I suspect the IFBB could not have "easily not let him in" or risk a lawsuit.  Am I wrong here?  How would denying Don the right to compete have been covered under the rules?

Examples of politics: fighting a war for oil under the guise of peace and protection.  Banning Canadian cattle to increase sales of American cattle and stating it is due to risks of mad cow disease.  When protecting financial interest comes before protecting people, it is the correct use of the term "politics".  You speak as if politics do not exist in the IFBB - ever.  The truth is, they are part of some of the organization's decisions and I would assume they might have played a role in Don's placing.  That said, looking at the pictures he was obviously washed out, but I still think outside of the top 15 was a little harsh.  By the way, the intelligent thing to do would be to ban Don from competing if that is decision would be protected under the rules.

haha, probably for mainlining meth and coke to cut up rather than for steroids.  Did you go to the contest at all?

If he is on roids,He is the stupidest BBer ever. I feel sorry for the person who gave his/her kidney to him. >:( >:( >:( >:( >:(
Not necessarily true at all. Don't you know anabolic steroids are sometimes prescribed to people with kidney disease?

And if ones kidneys are totally shot and he is on dialysis steroids might actually be healthy.

But to get contest dry, the kidneys take a beating.  All the manipulation in the last week of a contest can not be good for a kidney transplant individual.

Yes, but he was talking about roids.

You do not have to beat up the kidneys to be contest dry either, necessarily. Lots of times diuretics and other extreme measures just make you look worse. Talking about healthy individuals here.
