Why is Darrem Charles so cocky and conceited?

Darrem Charles showed class when Heath burst on the scene and was humble in defeat when decisions have gone against him.. Whoever manages his career and gives him his advices has done a good job.

i love how people say "think about how much he has to spend on food!" as if everyone doesn't have to spend money on food. granted normal people might eat 1/3rd of the calories per day but it's not that expensive.

most pro bodybuilders feel life owes them  which is really dumb, but the ability to look at ones self as a buisness is beyond most of them. Would you invest hundreds of thousands of dollars into a buisness where the return is very little unless your top two, why would you bother.

Your better off keeping bodybuilding as a hobby and persuing wealth elsewhere, Lets face it, you have to be very limited if you want to be succesful in your chosen occupation and earn a living from it and you chose bodybuilding, its just dumb, but some guys love it, and i dont have a problem with that, but dont become bitter as the sport doesnt earn you what other sports do, its not really a sport and the return on yourself as an investment is clear from the beginning, slim to fuck all, but youl be big and freak people out wow, and if that satisfies your limited brain and ego, all power to you.

Darrem is the very definition of what it means (and takes) to be a professional bodybuilder...he is also about as far away from being "cocky" or "arrogant" as you could be....

For those who havent seen the Olympia series....check out the piece we did on Darrem, and his impressive car collection, personal training studio, home, etc....all from being a successful pro bb.

Many other pro's could learn a few things from Darrem....

No doubt he has money. I wonder if it is from bodybuilding and personal training/sponsors or if he has a business too...if its from bodybuilding it seems like he has done better than most.

ANYONE who's ever met Darrem knows he's a humble gentleman.  I've had the pleasure of speaking with him a few times, and he's really very down to earth.  It's funny, when I ran into him I didn't even know he was a bodybuilder because of the way he was dressed.  He was with his family.

Darrem is what it means to be and obtain the true American Dream, he came to this country with very little and now leads and provides a very comfortable life for his family. He is a self made man, who worked & works very hard for everything he has.
You could not be more wrong about him, he is a true ambassador to the sport of BB, always approachable and smiling.
Like "Brutal_1" said "I didn't even know he was a bodybuilder because of the way he was dressed", that's because you very rarely see Darrem when he is not covered up, if he was cocky & conceited he wouldn't be dressed that way, he'd be showing that shit off.

I met Dexter a few months back at a show, he was the nicest guy I have met in a really long time.
