battle of the biceps: FAKE WEIGHTS!
« on: August 07, 2007, 07:27:34 AM »
The list of trickeries is never-ending.

Scott Fagdonald from bb.com, Hulk Hogan's 24 inch guns, Bradley Castlefuck's bench presses, Melissa Dittweiners 10 reps with 3 plates on squats, Heather Darling's supposed 550 lb raw bench press world record, etc etc

Now to my DREAD...

The dumbbells do not weigh 100 lbs.

They were FAKE. Research the ironhistory.

You can, in fact, also tell if you examine the vid closely.

I dont know why they would do that. I'm 15 and I can cheat curl a 100lb dumbell once.
Still possible I guess.

I can't verify this (re: the curl bar).

It was the late Steve Neece who found out about the dumbells and according to my source also he who tested the dumbells and found them to be a deal lighter than announced.

But, since we can say with high certainty the dumbells were fake... why should we assume the bar curls weren't.

They are fake.  75lbs at most.
Most are all show no go!
