1) His Shoulders

2) His back (every1 knows this)

2 key points where his physique is different from the past.Everyone is focused on the back and realise that his back is weeak now , but you ask me his shoulders arent wide enough as they were &not enuf to displace cutler right now.Thats a key diff

Nobody expects him to win unless Jay, Victor, Melvin and Dexter couldn't make it to the show

That's funny you're right he seems to be getting more and more traps and less delts. Of course the increasingly prominent traps and gut do not help his appearance of width, and he was never naturally wide. Also, in his most recent video he seems to begin military press then finds it too painful and begins smith machine presses on a relatively light weight. I cannot be alone in observing this. Instead of doing the 160s on dumbell shoulder press like in Redemption, he's struggling with 270 on smith. I would still argue, however, that his awesome shape and detail still allow him to present a challenge to Cutler's massively wide, but comparitively undetailed, delts. This was exemplified in 2006 where Coleman looked narrower but just had too much shape for Cutler. We shall see come Olympia time!

Your right , cutlers shoulders are amaaazing , so were ronnies.But not anymore

Cutlers shoulders arent touchable by ronnie now

and that third pic above is not a negative shot of Big Ron , but rather a comparison of how GOOD he was and how great his shoulders were

The shoulders complete the back shots , just compare the 2 back shots above , the middle 1 is weeeeak without big shoulders

im sure he could come in big. his shoulders are not the problem. his tricep lat and quad injuries are. looks like a trainwreck.

Like you say his he`s not as detailed or vascular as many pros.....but that damn illusion makes him look wicked.Shawn ray caught this a while back , cutlers illusion

Btw i think alot of cutlers illusion is created by I THINK that exercise he does - WIDE ARC DUMBELL PRESSES, maybe im wrong

if you notice cutlers chest and delts look like 1 huge connected slab of meat , while other pros have a distinct seperation between shoulders and chest

Looking at those old pics of Ronnie i have to admit he was a worthy sucessor of Dorian. Damn, his back double bi used to be AWESOME! I hope he gets ill before the upcoming Olympia and has to pull out - i really don't want to see him come a probable third behind Cutler and Martinez.

Traditionally that is a bad thing though, with bodybuilders since the iron-age training to develop SEPARATION between the chest and shoulders. It does make Cutler look big that he lacks that, but just BIG really, not defined in any way.

Ronnie has loss his last 4 contest - Jay before last years win - lost some 4 years - questionable wins against chris Cormier and Dexter jackson at the arnold.

They've been saying that for years because of Dexter and Melvin etc, but they both look small next to the big guys at the O.

I don't think Silvio is gonna win the Olympia this year some how.

Wolf might one day but not for a few years.

i just think that he will do what he done in 2003 and come out after losing to gunter and shock... (the man is mad as hell, he will do anythin to win his title back) if he shows up better than 2006.... its in the bag for da big ron.
Ronnie just has that mature muscle that many of the pros won't get anytime soon including jay!

Yeah. The 2003 Coleman, much like the 2001 Arnold version, is long gone and is never coming back.

his delts back don't look bad at all.

he's not in peak condition yet obviously so give the guy a break. imo, his delts and back will look spot on come olympia time. i just hope he gets that mid-section tight above all else. the guy can afford to come in a little smaller, he's got plenty of size and detail over jay so the mid-section is everything for ronnie. he gets that tight the delts and back will look that much bigger.
