I have not trained that much in the last few years,So i am one of the weakest on getbig.
Sevatese you should train for powerlifting your core lifts are very impressive for your size.

I did powerlift a while back...I just want to look good now. did those lifts for the shittalkers here . I do not normALLY lift that much.

I wouldn't bother Sevastase - posting vids/pics is pointless on this board. Last year "you-know-who" called me out on my strength claims so I posted a pic of me lifting basically owning him. Nothing came of it other than a massive online argument so I thought fuck it - he can jerk off to someone elses pictures instead.

Where did this idea come from that Johnny Jackson is that strong?The guy has a huge deadlift but his squat and bench are crap.In an official meet he squatted 821 at 275 and benched like 525.Those numbers are crap.His total is also crap.I dont care what his gym lifts are ,his total in a meet isnt anything impressive.By the way,how can a guy do 405 X9 in seated press and only bench in the low 500s in a shirt.Sorry I dont believe that.Wolfey is BY FAR the strongest guy posting on here.

821 isn't crap for a bodybuilder doing squats. When you put it into perspective, Magnus ver Magnusson could only squat 900 so you're approaching WSM standards there. The other lifts are nothing special and his form is awful.

Im lifting in Oct.So hopefully I can lift a bit biger at 275.Everytime Ive tried to lift in that class Ive been hurt[hamstring,lowerback].Hopefully this time I can come in healthy.

Sorry bro I though it was a typo on his part. There have been vids of him dead lifting well into the 800's but I've never heard of him squatting so much. My bad.

To be honest,those numbers really arent very good today.A few years ago they were top ten numbers,now there are 198ers doing more.People can say its advances in gear,but the fact is,guys are now putting up such insane numbers that us mortals are really being left behind.Next weel Louie Simmons is running a meet in Cinci.I predict three guys go over 2800 in the total and you will see at least 6 squats over 1200lbs.

There are so many good ones out there.Bolton is certainly the best super the biggest squat and pull of all time,Vogelpohl is very good at 275,Greg Panora is super strong at 242,Jeff Lewis,Matt Smith etc. etc.Im not that up on the USAPL/IPF guys,but I know the europeans are incredibly strong over there.I think your right,Bolton just for the fact that he pulls 1003 and there really isnt ANY other full meet lifter even close to doing that.

Three things IMO:

1. Advance in gear (No way you slice it, it is a factor)

2. Advance in training technique (introduction of boards, chains, bands, plyo, et al)

3. Advance in dedication from the PL's (fewer beer bellied weekend warriors, fewer tough guy wannabe's and more real athletes drawn to the sport, guys like Wade Hooper)

I think Donnie Thompson has a very good chance to go over 2800 lbs.

No,Im training for another meet.I think Donnie can,Aichs can,Matt Smith can and Jeff Lewis can go over 2800.I also think Chuck will squat 1200 and Panora will go over 2600 at 242.
