It's not bad but I would just get yourself an ice tea maker & make your own iced green tea. Much much cheaper.

Thanks for the suggestion, Rimbaud!  The above is not too expensive, 1.5 liter for $1.00, but I'll give the tea maker a try.

$1 for 1.5 liters? Damn where do you live?

My ice tea maker cost less the $20 & to make 64+ ounces you need something like 8 tea bags (I use ten because I like coffee & tea strong).

Note: I try to drink a half gallon of iced green tea a day.

Thanks, candidate!

By "opinions", I mean do you like it?  Is it worth it?  Is it real green tea?  The ingredients list is long, but green tea is listed at the top, which I believe it means that it has a lot of "green tea" per serving.

I don't know.  Tea has only about 35 mg caffeine per cup, I think.  Coffee on the other hand has about 100 mg caffeine per cup.

Caffeine is not all that bad:

The Benefits of Caffeine

"Caffeine can improve memory, decrease fatigue, improve your mental functioning, study after study suggests.

It can improve your short-term memory and speed up your reaction times, according to a study presented in 2005 at the Radiological Society of North America.

Moderate coffee consumption -- defined as three or four cups a day, providing 300 or 400 milligrams of caffeine -- carries "little evidence of health risks and some evidence of health benefits," conclude researchers from the Linus Pauling Institute at Oregon State University in Corvalis, writing in Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition in March 2006.

Coffee drinking, the researchers say, may help prevent type 2 diabetes, Parkinson's disease, and liver disease, including liver cancer. And it doesn't appear to significantly increase heart disease risk or cancer. But, they warn, those with high blood pressure, as well as children, teens, and the elderly, may be more vulnerable to caffeine's adverse effects."

Yea don't get me wrong here i'm not saying its a bad drink....its probably about as good as you can get and not be water i mean i eat green tea pills everyday although i've heard that its bad for your liver when you drink alcohol in the same day although now that i look it up on the internet i see people saying its good for an alcoholic so meh and i've also always heard that tea has more caffeine than coffee does but maybe thats just bojangles 32oz super caffine tea(which is certainly not as good as water) meh i dunno but yea this specific tea is pretty good that doesn't mean that all tea's are though either......

True, we should all avoid that stuff.  I hope the day comes when we will use Xylitol as a artificial sweetener instead.

I just picked up the Lipton White Tea to Go, which has white tea powder and green tea powder listed in the ingredients.  1 packet (2 servings) yields 160 mg of flavinoid antioxidants.

There may be some concerns with Stevia, I think I remember reading that.  By the way, that is the sweetener used in "Zingers To Go" Green Tea mix (made by Celestial Seasonings).

If you can find more on that I would appreciate it.  Stevia is from a plant, but of course that doesn't mean it is automatically safe.

Now I am going to have to see if I can find something on that.

Stevia is not necessarily unsafe, just questionable at the moment.

I used to use it, but I did not like the taste.

You are welcome!  I like Xylitol so far, though I've only tried it in sugarless gum.  It actually has several health benefits.  It has no known side effects, other than a laxative effect on some people at first, but it goes away once the person gets used to it.  It does show to be deadly for dogs for some reason.  It seems to lower their blood sugar way too much or something like that.

I've had it in gum and I am one of the people it causes stomach upsets with.  All of the sugar alcohols cause me problems.  I can have a piece of gum or something, but not too much in a day, so I pretty much gave up gum.  I think sorbitol is worse.   I read the labels on sugar free or reduced sugar items to see what the sweetener is and the sugar alcohol content.

I wouldn't be concerned with the amount of caffeine in green tea ~ it's SIGNIFICANTLY less than coffee.

Agreed, there's a caffeine content website out there that I can't find at the moment, but I seem to remember the caffeine content per cup being around 10-12 mgs, not bad at all. Even a gallon of it would be similar to 1-2 cups of coffee (@).
