A few months ago(literally), you didn't need a dime. Any asshole with 680 or above credit scores could buy a house with no down payment. Didn't even need a job, you could just say you worked for someone and if they answered and vouched for you, you had a mortgage. Things are getting trickier now, but it's still feasible.

That's one of the factor that led to the collapse. All these people buying houses they couldn't afford on promises to pay. I was reading an article yesterday about banks starting to tighten up on who they give loans and mortgages too as a result.

Yeah, most of the banks that gave out the SISA(liar) loans are out of business now. It has fucked it up for people who can pay for a house but can't prove they can pay for one. Drug dealers and strippers don't usually give a fuck about their credit, but have no problems paying their mortgages. Now all high risk borrowers are pretty much fucked.

I'm looking at houses in the 225-250 range.

3-4  brs  and a pool in the backyard. Iv'e only got one child and won't be having any more so that's plenty of space for me.  I told the wife the spare room will have a linoleum floor so I can douse those bad boys in baby oil like in the BTRA vids.....didn't go over too well

hahaha, it does have a nice little ring to it. They should just rename it to the BF and Sarcasm board. It serves a good purpose though. Whenever I'm feeling disheartened about something, I can always go look at those three fags obsessing over us and realize that my life could be 100x worse....like theirs.
