kiwiol says that Mysotatin Inhibition is a myth. It can only work in the embryonic stage.

GH15, help us out here. Is there such a thing as Myostatin Inhibitors?

I dont know why there isnt more interest in this in the bodybuilding world. Its such a temporary culture.

Live for the moment. If you work this hard to make muscle why is there no interest in keeping it?

Do you guys really want to loose all your gains, because you will. Name one retired pro that still looks like he was ever a bodybuilder.

I'm serious here, when are BBers going to get their hands on some of this stuff and show us the possibilities.

I agree, I think it is already being used to be honest with you. I dont see how Jay and Ronnie can stay that big that long all year round with hardly a change or health problem, it just isnt possible.  Even with the normal gear there are dips and platueaus, these guys are just too consistently the same.

Ok, I'll find it myself.

Here's a link to one article:

http://www.fool.com/investing/general/2004/07/02/muscle-in-wyeths-pipeline.aspx

"Last month, the drug manufacturer began a phase 1 trial of myo-29, a monoclonal antibody that blocks the production of myostatin, a natural occurring protein in the body. A Wyeth-sponsored study recently published in the New England Journal of Medicine suggests why blocking myostatin may be desirable. At the center of that investigation was a 4-year-old boy with twice the muscle mass and half the body fat of other children his age. The boy has an apparently unique genetic mutation that inhibits myostatin production. From this and earlier research, Wyeth has determined that the protein inhibits muscle growth."
