This is the kind of thing that would happen in a dictatorship, only those folks would have been put to death or imprisoned.

This is alarming that something like this would ever happen int his county.

Exactly the same thing happened to Sheehan. Arrested for her shirt, they had to dismiss the charges.

It's happened to ALOT of people, ...those weren't the only 3.
We've been getting reports of that type of thing occuring regularly over the past 7 years.

Yeah, stuff along these lines has happened quite a bit during this administration's tenure. I think  one of the most interesting things about that article is that the admin's spokesman still refuses to cop to any sort of wrongdoing. I recognize it may be a legal stance, but you'd think that they would at least want to maintain a veneer of support for personal liberties and just fob this off as one of the little guy's mistakes... you know, like they do when they prosecute military misconduct.

Exactly, except I'd say it's a bit more than alarming, it's horrifying. Getting arrested for wearing an anti-Bush t-shirt directly contradicts EVERYTHING this country stands for. The to add insult to injury the $80,000 comes out of our pockets.
