Does this get on your nerves?
« on: August 20, 2007, 08:59:04 PM »
Pertaining for the most part to "other" hardcore/steroid boards...this doesn't pertain to all but definitely the majority.

When it comes to the time I spend online posting on various forums, this one is where I spend most of my time, but I do carouse a few others now and then. And there seems to be a trend that I find really irritating...it comes along here from time to time, but it's not that bad IMO. On all these forums both newbies and vets alike ask various questions, some good and some down right retarded but it's the overwhelming responses I see to these questions that chaffs my ass. How many times have we seen someone reply with:

"Post your stats."
"You shouldn't use drugs if you need to ask this question."
...or my absolute favorite, where someone answers a question with a very scientific sounding long and drawn out reply that almost no one can understand...not unless they had already spent a life time studying drugs and even then it would be a stretch.

Now don't get me wrong, sometimes the above types of replies are needed but 9 times out of 10 they are made simply because the replier wants to sound "smarter" then the guy on the other side of the screen. I see the "post your stats" replie all the time and once the guy does, the guy who said "post your stats" makes a replie that could have just as easily been made without any stats being posted. I mean come on! When someone ask a simple question such as "does this cycle look OK?" And it's a relative simple cycle as most posted are, wouldn't giving a helpfull replie from the start benefit far more then simply beating around the bush and dragging it out for no reason? Or when someone ask about the particulars of a certain drug, is it really necessary to make them feel like a pile of crap for asking this question? Even if it is a fairly simple drug most here would know about, something tells me at one time none of us knew how some of these drugs worked...I know I didn't...hey, I wasn't born with a syringe in my hand and a dbol in my mouth, lol!

Anyway, maybe this thread is pointless, maybe this kind of thing doesn't bother any of you. Like I said, this doesn't seem to be a problem here...I think we have a pretty sound good group of guys on this board...no one seems to be trying to make a name for themselves as "internet guru of steroids" on this board, lol!

So that's my little rant...I don't rant here often, so thanks for your time ;D

I hear ya, At the same time though, I find it irritating when a noob asks a question that could have very easily been answered on their own if they just did a little research. But hey, I'm far from perfect. I too have asked on things I probably could have figured out. I guess at the end of the day I just want people to educate themselves on the topic for their own good and safety, otherwise they are going to screw their body up. Oh, and please be respectful to those giving you advice, come on people.

Maaaaan, as a newbie, I hope I ain't done nothin' like that.  Of course you can go online to find out simple stuff, such as possible side effects or somethin.  But if you wanna know what to take to achieve a certain goal, and there's somebody RIGHT there, willing to help, I don't see the harm in asking.  As long as you ain't askin them the history of steroids or nothin.

Certainly no harm in asking a valid question to learn, but too many take the lazy way out. Plus it is important to educate yourself in the case you experience problems you will know how to deal with them. Good luck. Oh, I'll be the first to admit I am not expert and I too am learning.

Answering a simple question shouldnt be a issue...

A lot of what AJ is describing I blame on the computer Generations Depersonalization of humans and
sort of a cyber-reality world upbringing.

This generation goes to school and slaughters classmates w/ all the emotion of a video game.

Its similar here, they often dont relate to there being ANOTHER REAL PERSON at the othe side of the conversation.

I know what you mean & I think we've all been guilty of that from time to time.

As for the post your stats I think it's easy to judge a cycles effectiveness & such when you know how old the person is, how long they've been training, & what's their gear experience.

Yeah, I agree, sometimes it does help. I'll tell you what, just ignore this thread altogether...I was in a pretty pissy mood when I wrote this last night lol!

I don't really think I can respond to this without knowing your stats but I will try...

I know what you mean though and I am probably guilty of it from time to time.  I often get more scientific in my responses than necessary but I do that because sometimes more advanced members are reading the threads that know the answer to the person's question allready, but would like to know a little more about the science behind it.

Well one reason to ask for stats is because sometimes young kids like 16-18 YO can come on here and start asking for cycle advice.  You need to know something about the person you are prescribing advice to.  Age is a good place to start, cause if they are too young then I will not advise them.

I truly believe that there is no such thing as a stupid question. What gets to me is how lazy some of these people are. The WWW is the world at your fingertips. How many threads have you seen in regards to clen dosage or pct?.... I wish some people should do a little more research instead of just relying on other people. It will benefit you in the long run.

I know what you mean Arnold.  Like when someone post "This is my 1st cycle.  Using 500mg Test E per week.  Do I need more than 100mg Nolva a day to prevent gyno?"  Then someone replys "post your stats" lol!

That is my main problem on this board.

90% of the questions could be answered by a 5 minute search.

RDW - I Like the stuff you write... Basic stuff gets boring.
But basic stuff is all it takes to put on some nice new muscle for a young guy.

On some level you have a point, yet there are way too many instances of people asking questions on here that could be answered simply by typing in "Google" and doing some research.

I realize some of the complicated questions need to be asked, yet alot of the questions I see are by people who just aren't experienced wanting to be spoonfed.

That's just not practical.

Experience is gained by doing, not simply asking.

Arnold, right on point. Although I must admit it usually happens to the vets on the board....such as you Rim, Div, Luv, Trab and Overload. Just something I've noticed as I've been on these forums. I feel for you guys as it must suck, so for you to vent it must have got to that point.

I'm no professed guru and am always learning, but the fact of the matter is this:

Eat,Train,Sleep......that's it. No miracle drug for anything, unfortunatley. Stats, I truly don't believe matter, why, simple fact is that people all react differently to AAS. Your training and the way you eat should be the main concern, then drugs.

People need to learn to think before they open there mouth or let there fingers run on a keyboard...

Thanks Arnold now you got me going....
Just spot me BITCH!!!

Excellent point(s).
