1st off, it's "how many of you are afraid to die?", and no, not me! when my # is up, it's up! i'm going to "the spirit in the sky", to "the place that's the best!" if you were a relatively good person on this planet, why would you fear dying? it's part of life! besides, i have alot of relatives and friends who are waiting for me, whom i miss! :'(   someday, i believe i will be reunited with them!

if you believe in causal relationships (given your butchery of the English language I doubt you will understand what I mean) then when you were born you already confirmed that you will die.  that is to say that one cannot exist without the other as they are linked by cause; one makes the other happen.

so if you fear death then you are irrational.  the fact that you are alive necessitates your death.

most people are afraid of the "pain of death"... this can be a rational fear: most people would rather die in their sleep than from a bullet wound.

either way it's going to happen.

my advice: focus on living life to the fullest... you can talk 'hocus-pocus' on the religion board... but chances are that this is all there is...

I think about this all the time.  It's not the dying I am afraid of.  I surely don't want to be suffering a slow death.  I want to die quickly so I can't think about anything.  The thing that I hate most is what my daughter will be like when I am gone.  We are so close that I know she is going to be a wreck for awhile.

Same here.  I don't worry about myself so much but the other people that need me.

Allot of you is worried about the pain of dying but what if you lie in the hospital and get morphine IV in to your blood wouldn't that be a perfect ending?

Yeah it would but to get to that point you probably would have suffered a lot of pain already before the drip.

I used to be afraid to die, then when i was like 13....three dudes robbed me at gun point for my bike and $$$ ( five bucks) at that point i was like ..."if your going to shoot me then shoot me" ....
