Now you know me better than to think I would equate faith in any deity with 9/11 (at least give me that much credit
). But you cannot deny the religious motivation of the attackers.
The formula is pretty simple. These people completely abdicated the exercise of reason in favor of a particular Islamo-fascist mode of belief.
Their minds were completely hijacked by a mind virus. (I know you like that one.
)
It was that virus that made them completely subordinate to the commands of Bin Laden & Co, whom the virus made them believe were representing the will of Allah.
Hence, the ruthless murder and self-immolation of 9/11!
Now, I see what you are saying: some folks (not me, nor Dawkins, Hitchens, Harris and Dennet) like to always take the middle-of-the-road position and distribute blame to everyone. They say things like "Muslims have their suicide bombers, just like Christians have their abortion doctor killers."
Of course, that's a load of crap, because you just can't compare the two! But then again, these are the same people who say things like "Atheists are fundamentalists too" or "Dawkins is just as bad as the suicide bombers." And that's a load of crap too!
