I'm taxed enough...cut a few programs.

Amen, brother.

What we DON'T need is another tax based on controversial science.

Especially when countries like China and India are far worse than the United States is supposed to be.

Try visiting some countries in Europe or Asia. Our air quality is waaaay better compared to some of the countries I've visited and lived in.

Simple math folks.

SUV gets 12 miles to the gallon, while a toyota gets 30.

Don't tell me that doesn't make a difference.

Yeah, screw taxes.

But instead of running silly anti-drug ads, why not better spend the money on ads telling people to drive more economical cars? You gotta admit the government doesn't do a very good job with our money.

Can't get student financial aid if you make a certain amount, or aren't shown as a dependent with mummy and daddy. Yet, some abuses public housing, collects food stamps, welare etc.  ::)

Did you mean to say a Prius gets 30?  I have a Toyota SUV.

The Prius gets a lot better than 30 MPG, more like 44 in real world driving. It's true savings is actually in city driving where it can use the electric motor much more often and where the more frequent braking allows the regenerative braking system to be most beneficial.
