i think you mentioned before you think squats are stupid or something along those lines.

if your upper legs were just a little thicker, you'd look much better.

either way, puts most of us to shame here, good job and good luck.

I'm deeply sorry if it's been answered before, but what was your contest weight? You looked fantastic and did something 99% of the people here wouldn't dare do, and not I'm not talking about stepping on stage, but getting that lean. It's kinda hard doing that, you know, I'm sure.  ;)

I've adopted some of your's, shiftedshapes' and adonis' principles and I'm leaning out with no muscle loss, althought I've lost a little strength. I reckon I will be ripped at around 175 in due time. I still do make sure to get protein, but I also eat some junk, making sure to count calories.. I'm leaning out better than I did on any silly 8 meal, 400 g protein diet. Now I see what you, Bast and others were trying to preach.

Now to the main point.. Congrats! You looked awesome and you should be proud.

8 hours for the whole week? are you embellishing a little , if not thats fuckin wild . i notice if i try to keep getting leaner ill either wake up too early or cant get to sleep at night, your body is fighting to be awake because it wants food
Ohh yeah man its BAD. The key is to keep your head full of exhausting thoughts. I learned the hard way that if i thought about the show or god forbid food i'd automatically be up an additional 5 hours from my current time. The worst was when school started and i had to ride my bike to school at 5:30 in the morning on 2 hours of sleep. Breakfast was always the best meal. I noticed that the more carbs i introduces into my diet the more i started craving food but if i stuck with just eggwhites, salmon, and broccolli i could tough it out even though i couldn't lift.

Keep them posing trunks mate.

Make it a trademark, let the rest of the stage be filled with gays in thongs, while you pay tribute to the Iron Age. 8)
Hahahah that was the message i was trying to portray. Although as i got leaner i began to understand why those guys bought the smaller cuts but i only think you can pull that off if you are absolutly shredded. If you have striated glutes they will show though your trunks. The smaller cuts really are over the top in most cases.

I was 146.6 at weigh in and i ended up eating a whole pizza, a bowl of mashed potatoes, a bag of rice cake, a couple of bananas, a carton of ice cream, a box of oreos and some oatmeal cookies to try to fill out. I felt like 180 pounfd of crap in a 140 pound bag. I had trouble sucking in my stomach but i had a good 24+ hours for it to digest. The next morning i woke up and at some donuts, eggs, oatmeal, sausage, etc.... Don't listen to people who tell you you will ruin your condition. It is nonsense. I probably would have done better to carb up slower and over longer period of time next time. Also i wouldn't reccommend prepping for a show on donuts and cookies but thats just me. You can stay lean off of it in the off season and stay as low as 8% bf but when it comes to getting down to 2-3 you can't do it trust me. I mean it is possible but it is hard. You need something that will fill you up or your going to be on the ground holding your stomach and pulling hair out of your hair from hunger pains. It is all about playing tricks on your mind. Coffee with every meal helps along with soup and stuff like that.

Thx for taking such good picture Isaac. I just want to thank all the people who helped me with my diet and contest prep. Rip for being my cheerleader  :), Layne Norton for helping me ball park my calories, and Jeff Rodriguez for basically upping my standards of how lean a bodybuilder should be. I probably would have never dropped that low if it wasn't for his showing at the Team Universe and i want to thank him for his emails. I also want to thank my friends who helped me with my prep here at home and helped me apply my tanner. I'd also like to thank Adonis for completly transforming my life for the better and pulling me out of my perma bulker stage. Couldn't have done it with out yall.

Thanks, Leafy, I really appreciate that.

Enjoy your offseason!
