im watching BFTO 98 and paul dillett is in it.

he wears a white towerl around his neck and he puts part of it in his mouth and chews on it while doing his sets!

it was just an observation as im watching it right now.

as for bringing up old stuff, you're the expert, you pretty much recycled the same half dozen training posts for 10 years now from bodybuilding.com to getbig.com 95% of your posts are either about bowflex, ronnie vs dorian or getting a home gym.

one could almost get the impression you're retarded, but would a successful stock broker in his 50's living la vida loca in a mansion like this be retarded?

dillet is in INSANE condition there, legs are feathered and he's just a beast. Gut is a little out of control in a couple of spots but if he had come into the olympia looking exactly like that he would have given everyone a run for thier money...upper body was tremendous, legs-quads, calfs and hamstrings were ripped...I don't believe they showed his back but the rest of him was awsome. One of my alltime favorite BFTO scenes.

really he looks insane there....anyone know what happened to him at that olympia? I don't think he made it to the show..he looks light years ahead of where he did on the BFTO 96, just thick as hell and shredded. I think he really would have given ronnie a headache had he shown up like that.

he is for sure the best structured bb ever! is he planning to compete again in future? last time i saw him in competition he was fat as hell and not as big as at his prime...his age?
definitely the gratest bodybuilder that didnt win the olympia (shawn ray is nothing compared to dillet)

a while ago i conducted a little experiment to answer this very question.

conclusion? on high rep work where that burn starts to set in, biting down on a towel helps block it out. it won't do shit for you under about 12 reps, but if for some reason you're going 15+, it works like biting a bullet for civil war style surgery. good for calf raises, shoulder raises, etc.

Exactly ! Hell, I do the same thing and, perhaps psychologically, it works ! Paul Dillet in his prime was one of the sickest Bodybuilders to ever walk the Earth ... just INSANE Bodyparts ... if only he would have worked more on his Back Muscles and Posing ... * sigh *. Nevertheless, Paul is a TRUE FREAK !
