Just another white man's opinion.

everyone around him prolly told him he won, the chad did, that's probably a fact.  The chad seems to think that all Ronnie has to do is show up and he's gonna win.....doesn't matter that he had 1/2 a back, one arm, no ab definition or anything...he's ron, he's gotta win.

Ronnie says the judges got it wrong, that Jay should of lost, and that is after he saw the pictures, and had almost a full year to think about it.

You just quoted every loser.

So he's risking stepping down as a loser this year.

You had your time, Ronnie. Take it in stride.

Good for Ronnie, believes in himself.

Regardless of who wins they should all think this way even Mr.Kamali

how about humility....accepting that someone was better than you on that day.....give them props and respect, then try to come back to beat them next year?

If the IFBB was smart, they'd give it to Ronnie this year, retire him, then have a wide-open field and lots of excitment for next year's O as well.

Ronnie is clearly past his prime and should call it quits after this year

with that said, i can't think of any other male bodybuilder that I would want to work out with..
probably wouldn't be the most technical work out..but it would be one that I would never forget...

I am late to following bodybuilding and Ronnie has always been the Mr. O until last year...
say what you want about him, but atleast concede that he is entertaining in his own right

to be honest, I have seen the unbelivable about 5 times and I haven't gotten tired of it yet.
good luck Ronnie with your life outside of competing..and thanks for the memories..you will always be a champ to me
Here comes the money shot

The chad seems to think that all Ronnie has to do is show up and he's gonna win.....

Used to be that that WAS all Ronnie had to do! The only person that could beat Ronnie in 98-99-05 etc... shape was Ronnie. He showed up off his conditioning a few times (01 when Cutler could have beat him, but structure-wise, Ronnie was still superior and his back/ham/glute detail was still phenomenal!), but still managed to eek it out somehow.
But that was then.
Now, he actually is going to "have to work" for it, and doing everything right considering all he's up against with his symmetry issues. :-\

He should've done that last year when the Sandow was snatched from him.

What's wrong with a man wanting to retire with one more Win under his belt ? Because I assure you that's what Ronnie is trying to do ( at least that's what he would LIKE to do ) ... I can almost guarantee you that Ronnie would've retired last year if he would've one that Sandow ... GUARANTEE !

bullshit. he would have wanted 10. and if he won 10, he'd want 11. there's no way in hell he'd have retired just with 9 if he thought he could win again. that's why he didn't stop after 2005 when he tied haney, he thought he'd get another.

nothing's wrong with it, but let's look at the possibilities:

1) ronnie retires with 8 sandows, going out on top with only one loss in the last eight years of his career.

2) ronnie retires with 8 sandows, after losing 8 contests in a row that saw his placings fall lower and lower.

* Sigh * ...  ::)

This is how I see it ... Ronnie was tied ( and still is ) with Haney with 8 Sandow's. If he would have won last years' Sandow he would now currently have 9 ... are you with me so far ? Okay, with 9 SANDOW'S he would have been in a class ALL BY HIMSELF so WHY wouldn't he want to retire ... he would've and still can retire on top ... do you understand what I'm saying or is it all bullshit ?
