The Rugby World Cup - Any interest in America?

The RWC opening game kicks off tomorrow with France v Argentina. The following day (saturday) see's the USA Eagles start their campaign against England.

What i want to know is there any interest at all in the US for the world cup or the US team in the world cup?

I imagine that with the start of your football season coming up, all the excitement and media attention will obviously be on the NFL. Leaving your poor rugger lads with virtually no coverage from most of the media.

England v USA (17.00)

Wednesday 12th 
USA v Tonga (13.00)

Wednesday 26th 
Samoa v USA (19.00)

I started watching the All Blacks and some of the other teams this summer. Awesome stuff. Couldn't really care less about the USA but I'd like to see NZ, France, Australia and some of the other teams play. I think VS channel is supposed to be airing some matches, not sure which ones though.

ESPN ranked them like 17th or something. I'm pretty sure they aren't that good.

I watched eveything last year when I was overseas..7 nations etc. With more High Schools playing, we should get better.
