there were a couple of guys at another gym i trained at who said that Tony Atlas came to their old gym here in St. Louis when he came to town for a few matches and they both said they saw him work up to 585 on the bench for a single, Dino Bravo was also supposedly a beast on the bench, Ken Patera has to be one of the strongest and Bruno Sammartino was reportedly extremely strong.

Dino Bravo benched 715 or something like that with one hell of a spot on one of the wrestling shows. I think the mob killed him.

that was fake weight, in reality he benched around 530-540 for a single, still EXTREMELY strong for a pro wrestle ror anyone else for that matter, that clip was fake as the day is long though, if you remember it showed him "benching" 600 for like 10-12 like it was a toy, no one in the world does that.

I don't remember, but if it were fake he wouldn't have needed a spot. That spotter really fkn helped him.

yeah it was fake, no one benches 600 for 10-12 effortless reps like it's 225 even with Bill Kazmaier spotting.

Probably was fake, but I don't understand why he didn't put a weight on he could have handled without a spotter.
