I didn't mind it. 2 days without power, basement flooded and just got internet back a few hours ago. To top it off, gym is closed all week so I'm lifting at one of The Edge's. Lot more quality eye-candy here than at my gym, though.

Was nice being cut-off from everything. Burned through 700 pages of Game of Thrones and took it easy. Not like I missed anything. Came back to the same shit: violence, bloodshed, President Downgrade's further destruction of America. Blah, blah, blah.

How do you like the Edge? heard it's always crowded.never read any of the Games of Thrones.

.....while you were gone it seems tdongz has actually gotten dumber if that's possible :-\

This one isn't crowded at all, actually. Haven't had to wait for any equipment and at least half the cardio machines have been open around 5 pm. But I've heard the other places can get pretty bad.

I'm almost tempted to sign up for a month just because the viewing pleasure has been a nice change from my usual but I probably won't bother.

You should read the Thrones books, too. They're very well written. I'm hooked.

I only watched two episodes and then decided I'd read the books first. I think the books are a lot better, to be honest. They're legitimately well-written by the standard of all books, not just Hollywood trash.

People that make up stories to get out of heavy lifting even after they've said they would do it for two weeks before then the night before they get into an "altercation" and can't lift.... ::)
