big_mal, a bunch of reruns of your sister's Cycle was on MTV the other day....It was so sweet when she won! 

Some important questions for you:

Agreed, I just kinda said yes as people seem to use the term mulatto for any blend of white blood, and I can only assume by her tone and features she had some. I get called a mulatto 24/7 and I have almost given up trying to explain that any white blood in me must be so far back I can barely have any. Sad thing is what you mention has improved yes, but still is somewhat prevalent.....apart from a few like Gabrielle Union, Naomi Cambell etc. many black actresses/models etc seem to be fairly light.

Actually it's the other way around. Most afro-americans have 20-30% white blood, but they still get called black. Immigrants to the US who were considered mixed or mulatto in their native country are quite often suprised to be considered "black" there. The one-drop rule still lingers.

However, you are right in a way. That if they are succesfull, things change the other way around. E.g. if Barack Obama was robbing banks he'd be "black", now he's considered biracial.

Hey that dress at the bottom, the orange one...I think she one that on a red carpet event. Anyway its at my house its size small or something. (i dont know womens sizes) she is 5'7 and weighs 110 lbs..Anyway she donated it for some silent auction for breast cancer or some shit and it never happend. so its just sitting in the closet with my sheets and towels. Ill take pic today

The dress in that pic is pretty but it isn't the one she wore in the episode where she won.  I looked for but couldn't find a pic of the dress she was wearing.  If she's 110 pounds that may not work out for me lol!   :-[
