nah the Sears still owns them if you put them side to side. and considering Burj will be damn near TWICE their height when finished i cant think of anything more impressive. i still cant believe they are actually building this thing. only in dubai

i thought they hadn't said yet how tall burj dubai was going to be?  that's what they said on the news.

check out the forums on the page i mentioned, the final height is still being debated. since construction is already well underway they obviously have some final height set but they just havent made it public yet to my knowledge. its will certainly be WELL over 2000 feet, some say as high as 2800 or roughly twice the height of the sears tower

Isn't the Tower of Babel supposed to be in IRaq, between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers of old Babylon?  Anyway, goes to show ya what all that gold and oil can do.  And here in the US, we still have a hole in the ground where our greatest towers used to be
