eh, fair enough. just as long as you realize that the strongest suited lifters are still stronger than men in bygone eras. yeah it's true that kennelly used a shirt, but he's still a stronger bencher than, say, kaz. 
No. I disagree. That's a blanket statement which obviously isn't true.
Some lifters today are stronger. Not all.
I'd like to see Ryan Kennelly best James Henderson's 711 lbs and passing a drug test, like Henderson did.
Eg, in the 198 lbs class, compare Ed Coan to Shawn Frankl or Jesse Kellum. They both have much higher squat numbers than Coan, but he absolutely destroys them in the deadlift, where he pulled 859 in the 198 lbs, and Shawn Frankl deadlifts 710.

That's a weight Coan probably could do 10+ reps with.
Goes to show you the level of equipment these guys are using.
The rules in some federations allow for ridiculous "records".
Yes, some guys are better than the top guys yesterday. But it's not something general.
