Off the top of my head I'm gonna say Raiders of the Lost Ark. Great opening with Indy stealing the idol and everything crumbling around him.

A cute girl getting killed before the opening credits is always a sure sign of a good movie.

Tarantino is pretty good on openings. Especially Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction.

Some of the James Bond openings are classics.

Raiders of the lost arc had a good opening.
And almost ALL the James bond movies have good openings

That movie lost in transllation I only rented because there was nothing else and did not expect much, I really enjoyed the movie.
