Both got a lot of hype, but neither lived up to it. At their respective best who was better? At their worst who is worse?

Both have paltry competitive records

Kovacs was another great gym bodybuilder and thats about it.

Greg has a lot of promo and casual pix floating around but his contest pix are few and far between. I guess that says it all.

Federov; he was great at the 2003 Russian GP and fought a tough battle against Coleman and Cutler
At their worst who is worse? I think Kovacs 04 Arnolds showing was among the worst ever on a pro show

When he was at his best, I preferred Kovac's physique, but when he was bad he sank lower than Fedorov.

Fedorov was hyped way more to win shows even the big O

Kovacs was never hyped in regards to actually winning. He was hyped along the lines of biggest or strongest bodybuilder

Kovacs wasn't a great bodybuilder but a pretty good businessman who was able to promote himself as the ultimate bodybuilder, similar to Vic Richards except without the cult status

Bullshit - Oleg Zhur was first russian at Olympia.
it was 2000 or 2001.

Kovaks was the original big Muscle Tech athlete in the 1990s every one was raging about his strength which was amazing.
I also saw a pic of him next to Nasser and Nasser looked like a midget, he really was massive.
Greg Zulak of Muscle Mag fame was a big fan of him and one of the main reasons he got some much unofficial coverage at that time.
But he does look terrible now.
