So yeah, I'm in the steam room today, for relaxation purposes, and there is this guy in there with me. Typically no one is ever in there so I was surprised. So after a few minutes he asks me how long I stay in there because he's having trouble staying for long. Said he used to use the dry sauna at his old gym and would stay in there for 45min-1hr but couldn't handle the steam room.. Firstly I think I've seen a "warning" on one before saying longer than 15 minutes isn't smart, but I digress..
Point is, when asked which he overall liked more, he said he could keep weight/fat off better using a dry sauna. So the question is, fact or fiction, does a dry sauna or steam room (doesnt matter which, they both make you sweat so either works) help you lose ANY fat at all. I'm sure water weight would go down, but I wasn't too sure you'd lose any fat over time...
Anyway, even if its not true, I'll still sit in it after a tiresome workout, let oneof my gym's expensive shakesdigest, and relaaaax.
Thanks,
Blue
