He doesnt care about it.  He just wants to be the best Johnny he can be.

Then, we hear about Ben White - rookie with no contest history trying to make a name for himself by calling out an established guy.

JoJ thinks it's rediculous.  Good man.

Johnnie Jackson has said that he won't back down to Ben White on a strength benching competition.  This should be interesting if this can be set up between the two of them!


Johnnie "The guy needs to do something before he talks his move. I totally was not impressed with Ben White. He needs to improve his physique in bodybuilding before he tried to mess with me in powerlifting"

As much as I think JOJ is a fair guy, he has an unfair advantage.

Come on folks.

Ben White is a rookie with a good physique, who is trying to put himself on the level of the top pros like Johnny.

it's bodybuilding.  not powerlifting.  JoJ doesn't care about being the strongest.

I think Ben White is acting a lot like King Kamali once did... he talks trash about the top guys, when he hasn't proven anything.  Ben White should have entered the AC if he really had the guts to take on JoJ.  

I say, don't give White the attention.  He hasn't earned it.  Tell him to put down the calculator, stop trying to injure himself, and enter a freaking bodybuilding show.

He's right.  JoJ is supposed to risk an injury, by having a bench-off with this kid who hasn't even competed yet?

Heck, I suppose Peyton Manning should have a distance throwing contest with every cocky 7th round NFL draft pick who calls him out on a message board, eh?  ;)  It's about winning bodybuilding shows and longevity.  JoJ has been a pro for 6 years and has two titles.  What has Ben White won again?

honestly Ben would destroy JOJ on the bench by far but Johnnie would out deadlift Ben for sure, hard to say who'd outsquat who.

In Rochester N.Y.,I saw Ben bench 240 pounds(his bodyweight at the time) for around 36 reps or so.

Jackson was there guest posing and benched 315 for 16 reps.

Two very good benchers and a bench contest between them would be interesting to say the least.

he should be humble and polite to fellow pros.  he's on the all bullshit radio, spouting off about how great he is... he hasn't won ANYTHING YET.  heck, he hasn't ENTERED anything yet.

It's insane to me that anyone even legitimizes this clown by listening to him.  I'd ignore his silly ass.
