That makes sense, so it's wise to say, that they can extract different forms of steroids from different types of people, or it has all one basic compound?
Interesting stuff, i wanted to do chemistry at school but was more interested in fighting other kids.
Actually each person produces testosterone which is made up of many different types of testosterone that have different effects on the body (you don't need different people to extract the many types of test). When you hear of STEROIDS what the scientist have done is broken testosterone down into its many layers each of which has a different effect on the body, and they then synthesize these testosterones under the name of STEROIDS and market them as benefiting: weight gain, muscle building, aggression amplifiers, various medical uses etc etc. The understanding of testosterone and its make up is complex and the understanding how the body triggers the need for testosterone for a given benefit(s) is difficult. Insulin has the same complexity tied to it...being a hormone that can synthesize muscle as well as store fat and/or store carbohydrates. It has baffled scientist how this hormone by way of the body knows when to use its power to make muscle, make fat or store carbs. Adding to the mix is Growth Hormone which also consists of 191 different hormones which make up growth hormone each of which has a differing effect on the body and even the mind. This hormone plays roles from muscle preservation to tendon and cartilage development and strengthening, bone strength and length. The whole endocrine system of which testosterone, insulin and growth hormone are a part of is VERY VERY COMPLEX, but should someone ever find a way to manipulate the endocrine system safely we could produce some massive bodybuilders without the need for introducing synthesized drugs into their systems and see the detrimental effects like we see in todays BB...
