Ruhl, possible replaces Darrem in the top 10 if the judges judge the way they normally do but I prefer Darrem to Markus. :-\

Shawn you had some good calves when you were competing but you point out that guys like Melvin, Darrem, etc.have none. Do you think calves are a genetic thing you have to accept or can a pro bust their ass and build them to a good level? The only calves I have seen to go from bad to great were Arnold's.

hey I don't agree with a lot of things you say but regarding bodybuilding competition, who in the world can argue with a guy who was top 5 at the O so many times

To answer the calf question, I built mine, they were naturally High, I worked on bringing them down and splitting the heads on the sides.
Something I paid close attention to at the "Beginning" of my career not the middle or the end as so many of the guys try to build them later to no avail.
I saw the mold Chris Dickerson left for me to follow regarding what can be done building calves and I mimicked his routines from day one.
Darrem, Dexter, Melvin: it seems a bit late in the game, they are all over 37 and I doubt anything will change for them at this stage.  :-\

Hide can place in the smaller shows, but he won't do well in the O... he's not big enough yet and there's too much strength in the lineup.
