A good friend of mine who used to compete at the amateur level used to always shower before heading to the gym. He was a Frank Sepe clone and thought he was hot shit. It made me laugh though when he'd spend more time getting ready to go to the gym then he would before heading out to a night club. Total Guido.

I do. My girlfriend used to always rip on me for that. I don't do my hair or anything, but i like going to the gym feeling clean for some reason.

hahahaha, that's different SF because guys like you go out for other reasons too, like shopping/working/dinner etc, but I think the thread was referring to those that wake up around 3pm, have a protein shake and then go to the gym and come back and play halo/warcraft

well guys, you have to realize that for some people not showering before going to the gym is like asking for a bad case of chest and back acne...and asking very politely and slipping the body system in charge of developing acne a benjamin as well.

i never use to shower before the gym.
now i have the acne scars to prove it.

i guess for you grown men that arent succeptable to acne anymore; then it would just be faggish.
but for myself its a necessity.

Showers(and vicodin and coffee) wake me up in the morning. I take a shower, work out, take another one and go to work. If I work out in the evening, no I do not take a shower before I workout cuz I am still clean.
