If the product says IOVATE somewhere on the label it's Muscletech. IOVATE is the parent company for MT, Muscle Asylum etc.

bit of both...point is these supplement companies are fooling nobody.

months ago word came about of Silvio signing a contract with muscletech (around the milos-photo-situation time)

and then you never see him in a muscletech ad...then muscle-asylum comes along...and bam!

you gotta figure they're connected.

also with the number of pages and advertisement in every major mags...3-4 page Ads...who else has that kind of pull?

Muscle Asylum is just an ad campaign for Muscletech ... plain and simple.

Progenex however seems to be the REAL THING!!!!

 A good company with good people on board. 

I can't wait to see thier line of products all of which I will highly endorse.

I am a strong believer in only creatine for a little water strength, and whey for a meal replacement.  I don't buy into most supplements.  I use free ones when they arrive, sure.  But I don't swear by many.

Those milk pills though - there might be something to them.  Connely sent them to me 2 years ago, and I raved about them back then.  They took away soreness.  I have no clue what's in them, and I have no clue if the same things I took are the two new products.  All I know is, the ten milk pills I took each day took away soreness.  And I'd buy them again. 

I run www.mrgetbig.com and I'm sure some will just accuse me of saying whatever because it's the sponsor, but I went on and on about Dr C's supplement back then before any of this came to be.

Iovate has a shit load of different fat burners in all the women's magazines.  I know, because I read them all to get some tips before I head out to a house party.

Mindspin made his millions of working for Met-RX in sales when it was in its golden years.  Now it makes perfect sense and I knew there was something up with this company.  It stinks to high heaven

When did you start working out?  Sometimes beginners don't have the proper nerve innervation to create enough trauma for DOMS.

it was probably the amino/protein/whatever that I was missing in my diet.  Those ten pills provided it, I guess.  Perhaps a well-balanced diet would make the pills less effective.  Or more.  Who knows.  I ate crap and I was sore a lot.  I did nothing but add the pills and was very happy with them.  I tired to get more, offering to buy, but they weren't ready yet.  That was Oct 2005 I think.

I can tell you that unlike most of the other sports nutrition companies, this is not another marketing gimmick.  You are not going to see a print ad campaign.  there is not going to be a roster of fake athlete endorsements. And, you will not find it on the shelves of any retailer.

Dr. Connelly will not profit from the sales of this product.  All profits will go to a charity foundation.  Also, the amount of research that has gone into this protein is more than all other Sports Nutrition companies combined. 

I've been using it for over a year.  I can honestly tell you that in spite of the fact that my training & nutrition has been absolutely shitty because of my workload this year, I have managed to stay lean and actually put on a good 8-10 lbs of lean muscle.  I love the the stuff...

I would like to give an update on my opinion of Progenex:


My previous comments regarding Progenex was made prior to me meeting face to face with Mr Connelly.  We chatted for about 15 minutes mainly on the sponsorship but I did discuss the product with him as well as came to the conclusion that he was on to something pretty big. 

His product may be one of the first true supplement that uses bioactive nutrients....something very difficult to produce and manufacture on a large scale.

I would have to try the product first, but he did create Met-Rx MRP which put an end to athletes choking down nasty drinks. A previous resume of approval does help in his cause

Avesher is very gracious for entering our show.  He could be winning much bigger shows, but he chooses to keep it real, competing here.  I give him props for that, he never forgot his roots.

Agreed, plus he makes sure it's a big man's show. What a top-notch bodybuilding show should be. Like the Olympia.
