why are rice cakes bad?  can anyone explain?  if so, why does cutler eat them all day in his dvd?

Glycemic Index is very high,

Best is to eat them with PB on them to slow down rate of absorbtion

Tastes like cardboard. I can't get more than one of them down, useless. Stick to dextrose for high gi carbs

I have only used then to carb up on, with honey and peanut butter. Off season I never eat them. Kind of like eating Styrofoam.

True, but I see many people at work thinking they are eating so healthy as they eat a stack of sour cream flavored rice cakes.  So there must be some kind of subterfuge going on!
