Is Ronnie's decline psychological or just age?
« on: September 28, 2007, 09:33:46 PM »
Ronnie seems to have really fallen off.
Last year he was close to Cutler, and some woud say better.
This year he looks horrible.

I wonder if he lost the will to compete after losing last year and didn't give it his all this time.

the guys pusing 44, you get that old man slim thigh look like vince taylor no matter what  along with the droopy chest ect.....

why would he let those bozos talk him into compteting, he knew at some point durring the offseason that he was just getting worse!

im guessing money , contract obligations ect...

I think his plan to come in smaller really back fired.  Once you compete at a high bodyweight and decide to go back, you don't have that crisp look anymore.  In addition, There is obviously something going on with the left side of his body.  He looks worn out.  Thanks for the memories champ :'(

The change from 05 - 06 isn't nearly as dramatic as 06 - 07.
Losing the championship must have been devastating psychologically; I'm sure it affected his training.
No doubt age was a factor, but I think losing his winning streak may have been more important.
He gets all the test he needs from a bottle, training is the deciding factor.
