Today in the NFL

Jets lost to the bills even though the bills are missing 12 starters... Mangini is horribly overrated.

Broncos already have over 100 yards rushing vs the colts in the first quarter.

Trent Edwards was a beast in his first ever NFL start

Nice to see Favre get the all time TD record

Petterson is a beast and Rice reminds me a lot of a young Randy Moss.

Ravens where upset.

Oakland kicked Miami's ass.

Just a crazy day.  Lions beating the Bears.  Arizona beating Pittsburg.  The Chargers getting pummeled by arguably the worst team in the NFL.

To quote Chris Berman, "that's why they play the game."

I am on the verge of a depression.  The Cowboys are separating themselves from the rest of the NFC, while my Niner O is trying to prove it is the worst in the NFL.   :'(

But how about Tony Dungy and Colts?  They are just incredibly good, year after year, despite losing key players every year.  I'm really happy for Dungy.

Defense still sucks against the run....I get a kick out of seeing "JAY CUTLER" as QB.

07 chumps

Who's your team? Let me guess...

Either the Colts, Patriots, or the Cowboys.

Or maybe more like the Packers, right?

Everybody loves a winner, huh? ::)

To me that's the most interesting story of the day.

Are they for real and will they continue to win or are they playing over their heads? After all those years of terrible football the fans in Detroit deserve a good season, and of course for putting up with Millen.

One thing you can never accuse a Browns fan of is being a front runner.

The Chargers are imploding, Rivers has been ineffective and teams are starting to realize that if you can contain LT and Gates the rest of the offense is a non threat, and Turner is one of the worst coaches in the NFL, how he keeps getting coaching jobs is beyond me.  Marty doesn't look so bad now I guess.

Marty didn't look too bad at 14-2.

I'm not a Chargers fan, bit I thought he was a good coach, he's won everywhere he's went and definitely a better football mind than Turner, yeah he's never won in the playoffs but it can't all be his fault, I think SD is a one dimesion team and they're being exposed for it due to Norv's shitty coaching.

Marty ball = winning games. Although this implosion is not all Turner's fault.

I agree 100 percent. Turner is a meatball , but clearly the scapegoat here. These same clowns chanting for Marty where the same ones chanting for his head. If you make River beat you he cant. He was a product of his offensive line and running back last year. Like you said , shit down Lt and contain Gates to a reasonable margin and Rivers cant beat ya. The chargers wr 's are garbage along with there secondary.

The lines are not playing well this year which is a giant issue.

It's a shame they have fallen so far. The Chargers and the Colts were the the only teams capable of keeping those Cheats ;) out of the Super Bowl this year. Thank God for the Colts.

What a disaster...the Chiefs are horrible, horrible and they manage to beat them. They have a crappy line and a one dimensional running back who gained over 100 yards against Merriman, who's back to doing his little dance. Mister classy looked like he was going to cry again. Rivers was awfu. The AFC west sucks. 3 teams tied for 1st place. I didn't think the Bronco's would do as well as they did in the beginning yesterday. They couldn't stop the short passes. No adjustment at half time. Maybe Harrison will be out for awhile.

Manning sliced through Denver's secondary, I think the Chargers can salvage the season, there not a bad team just one dimensional, if LT gets going a Rivers doesn't lose the game they're right back in it. I think that's the key if LT plays like he can he can catty the team. No team depends on one guy more IMO.
