Its judges by rounds prejudging is the symmetry & muscularity rounds and then the posing rounds , the lowest scores win , perfect score is straight 5's ! All rounds are physique rounds in that even in the symmetry round , symmetry is NOT judged as a separate and distinct element separate from the others . usually the contest is won at the prejudging and the posing rounds almost never determine the finally outcome of a contest although is it has happened , especially in very close contests .

You really do need to get out more.  I am a father of 4 daughters.  They all compete in gymnastics and competitive cheerleading.  I saw the routine and saw the one you posted here of the 16 year old from ATL (fyi this is from last years Teen Nationals) and there was certainly nothing provactive about the routine nor were the costumes.
