I really used to. In 01, 03, 04, and 05, I much preferred his physique to Ronnie's.

Ronnie's physique never appealed to me, what with the protruding pregnant gut and all. Jay looked so much better. But he kept placing second.

Last year I was happy for Jay, but this year, I wish he had just taken his one sandow and retired. He doesn't deserve his win, just as Ronnie didn't deserve some of his later wins when he was pregnant with twin elephants.

You are right, Squadfather. Gustavo's gut is in a league of its own.

But the 2001 Jay looked better than last night's jay. In old pics he used to look really awesome.

2001 Olympia and 2003 Arnold were Jay's two best showings, awesome, maybe the 2000 NOC as well.

I totally agree. I still like Jay as a person and admire his work ethic, but I just think he is overrated and didn't deserve this win. Also, its much easier to like a guy when he is the underdog and placing second than when he is getting undeserved wins.

Yup.

Ironman 2003 was his best IMO - altho the lighting at the Ironman shows may've helped.

Jay used to have a taper.
