What will Ronnie look like?
« on: September 30, 2007, 04:29:37 PM »
What do you guys think Ronnie will look like at the 2008 Mr. Olympia. I say he will be about a soft 225 lbs.

seeing as how he'll be in the crowd he'd be smart to be 225.

I'm not talking about competing. I am just wondering how much he will shrink now that he is retired. Do you think he will go completely off the juice or have to stay on some HRT for life?

It depends, has age caught up with him or has he just screwed up twice?

If he hits his 2005 condition then he can win anything and it was only 2 years ago.

All i know is that Chad is useless. Ronnie was his only great athlete who hadn't gone to shit (other than his wife who's condition was unreal) and yet Ronnie still didn't come into shows in good condition year after year. WTF does he do anyway? His own design of duiretic does nothing if the athlete isn't conditioned anyway.

Are you sure about this? Other than money, what is the point in competing in smaller shows after you have won 8 Olympias.

Yeah Ronnie did say he will continue to compete, just not at the Olympia. I guess he just loves to compete. He could try the Arnold, but i don't reckon he would be able to take it. Still, its not to do with money, just love of the sport i guess.
No doubt about it...

seriously, I often wondered what the fuck Chad did?

after losing in 2006 I thought that ronnie should have chosen a new team (milos or glass)

Given his history of being a bloated cow in the offseason, he could easily go back to it now that there's nothing holding him back, at least for a while.

Ronnie has got a pinched nerve plain and simple. It is effecting his arm and leg size. Jay had the same problem about 3 years ago. This kind of injury takes a long time to come back from. A couple of years actually. Nerve regrowth is about a cm per month. The torn lat will mean little on stage if he ever decides to compete again. Chad make a big mistake trying to bring Ronnie in lighter. If you notice Ronnie at 260 last night was a smaller Ronnie at 260 from years ago. He was growing into himself back then as where now he was shrinking into a smaller version from past shows. Ronnie is one of the exceptions if not the only when it comes to coming in big. That is the only way he can win.

Funny how when they asked Ronnie about competing again he kinda laughed and said as far as what he does he loves it and that IT WAS EASY FOR HIM. Man, this guy loves to train and I think that is rare. Personally I hate to see a guy go out at he bottom not that he is any less of a bb. No one, not even Dennis Wolfe will ever match the "OVERALL" mass and complete physique that Ronnie had. I think that he has a couple of more years of competing if he wants and would win the AC pretty easy no matter who entered.

I was not impressed last might by anyone other than Dennis. I have no idea what the hell is happening to these guys. Everyone seems to be losing their quad sweep and overall leg size for that matter. They also are looking soft as hell. No one on the stage was shredded other than Dexter and he doesn't have the kind of mass that is needed to win the Olympia. Nothing personal, but Jay is a shell of what he used to be and was so soft I was shocked. I honestly would not have put him in he top 6. How the hell does silvio beat a guy like Gustavo. Silvio has big legs, but a very narrow back and shoulder width. Melvin Anthony while good needs to come in shredded for once. He would likely place in the top 3 or higher. Anyway, I was very disappointed this year. Hell ,I could maybe accept it if these guys were super huge and a little soft, but they seem to be losing size on top of getting softer. Rant over.  :P

Is not the age is the workout system, ( to heavy, to much partial reps) Brench and Kamali are doing the same mistakes and Jay started to do the same thing.

whats happening is that drugs stop working as good overtime as the body gets used to it there is no doubt in my mind that within 2 years even if wolf and vic and all those who started with the new cocktails will get to a point where they wont look as good as they did when they started with those drugs since their body will get used to it and stop working as good.

What is Ronnie's contract worth with BSN?  If he gets a good bill of hlth from his Doc...then there is no reason not to get paid.  He is top 3 at the A for an additional cheque for the next 2-3 yrs.

can someone confirm the status of Ronnie's contract with BSN?

I would much rather if he took a year or two "off" and then come back.  In all fairness I feel like his placing at the O was a gift. I am a big Ronnie fan but he looked like a pike of Poo.

and seeing that the smaller shows are favoring the more classic build I am not sure he would do well there either.

a 10000000000 % CORRECT post ! i thought to myself these exxact same things

I myself was shocked at the top olympia guys , they looked sadddd

All of theyr legs looked crap ! As if it was torn or something am i right?  i  mean wtf , i was verrrrry let down , this was the OLYMPIA

JAY was SHITTTTTT.His chest was flat as a pancake , his arms was so damn bad , even his quads looked smaller.AS for ronnie , he looked like he had 2 different halves , his upper bod didnt match his legs. And i like vic , but his legs are damn poor man (and he admits he loves leg training best you know)

Absolutely sad  :'(
