Why would anyone care how someone else gets dressed? In my day you had two choices.... Dress for style or dress for comfort! And all of us back then knew when it was appropriate to pick one over the other.
But if I decided to go to a funeral or a wedding in red Levis (they were popular for a few weeks back then), no one gave a shit or even mentioned it.
There was no such thing as "style" back then. No $50 cotton shirts with Polo players or alligators! No gay designers selling high end clothes. No brand names of any sorts unless you wore Levis and Pendletons.
And no one ever gave a shit. What's happened since those good old days? Has the gay designer world convinced you that you have to dress a certain way to be acceptable?
