Great line of competitors, good competition.

Two things:

1. The music. Very disturbing having some kind of nu-metal going on through the entire show, at the same volume.
How about this: Playing background volume between lifts, and slightly higher just before a lift.

And cut the volume while you were speaking.

And the music itself was tiresome to hear. I myself love training to Rammstein, Maiden, AC/DC et al. But this: it was just bullshit.

Epic "tough guy" music. Look at what is played on football events to pump up the crowd. Shit like that.

2. Please stop calling out world records when there aren't world records. It's just embarrassing. The lifts aren't any less impressive just because you keep it real.

Good luck with making RAW events more common and more popular. The judging actually seemed ok IMO, with proper stops at the chest. Keep it that way and avoid becoming a joke like certain feds are.

For the music, we selected songs from Slayer, Rammstein, Iron Maiden, Manowar, Beastie Boys, KMFDM, Die Krups, Hatebreed, Pantera, Godsmack, Prodigy, ect. (lots of songs from the 80s, 90s and a few new metal tunes.) So, the music wasn't all "nu metal" at all.

The Olympia Expo is the benchpress world championship. The world records are legit because they're based off the benches only done at The Super Show Expo and Olympia Expo (not off a local event where all kinds of factors can affect the amount of weight on the lift being passed.)

What sport events gets the biggest crowds? What music do they use to pump up the crowd?

Canadian Hockey and NHB crowds seems to be pretty wild. Perhaps look at how they do things there.

But definitely turn down the music while you're speaking.
