i had a small bout with insomnia and the doc gave me ativan. Another doc shit a brick when I told him b/c ativan is a benzo which are highly addictive. but i was on like 1mg which is very small. anyway it helped me alot and i was not groggy at all the next day. They have so many different things now, I'm sure the doc will find something that works for you

Warm milk?

Also don't jerk off before bed. I dunno when I was a teenager I'd always do that and it'd get me all wired and I couldn't sleep :P

You have high anxiety. it usually gets worse as you lay in bed and have nothing to do but think. might be work related or gear related. all AAS raise my anxiety levels pretty quickly.

A sleep med is not the answer IMO and usually makes things worse, you need to learn to control your anxiety through relaxation techniques. just google relaxation techniques and learn to control your emotions, mind over matter.

i've been through what you are talking about for 10 years...valium worked great but i don't like to take meds in order to sleep. i'm fine now that i have learned how to relax my mind.

Watch the Benzo group. Great sleepers, but Killer With drawls - Litteraly.

Mix up the sleepy meds if you NEED go the chemical path. THat way no tollerance builds.
Benzos once a week only. Dont touch Narcotic for sleep, its for pain or cough only.

ALso - OTC - Mellatonin,
Benedryl, Chlorpheniramine maleate (Antihistimines)

Prescription - Clonidine, promethazine, skelaxin, cyclobenzaprine, Hydroxine, and of coures all Benzos and major Tranqulizers.

Are you on Dbol? What AAS are you running? Some R worse than others.
YOu dont want a Prescription sleep med problem.
Switching anabolics makes more sense if thats the root cause.

I agree with Trab, try to stay away from Benzo's. i never had a problem with them but many people do. i only used Valium on rare occasions, i've had the original script bottle for years.

Try some tryptophan, you can buy it on the web pretty cheap. it didn't help me fall asleep faster but once i was asleep i stayed asleep until my alarm went of, which helps if you wake up alot during the night.

Benedryl works great as well and isn't habit forming from what i can tell.

Relaxation techniques will help you alot, even though you might not be worried about certain things doesn't mean your mind is at ease. at night is when my mind races the most for some reason but i do have a very high stress level job.

Good luck.

I dont write contracts anymore, but when I did, I'd wake up suddenly at night remembering details
I left out. Many times a critical exclusion come to me in my sleep.

I'd keep a folder and pen and light in reach.

Ive used tryptophane before, its good. Try Vetrinary sources.

Watch that your not on DIFFERENT BENZOS - They all have cross tollerance.
A valium now and then is great for recovery sleep (2nd to none IMO), but go on a benzo run too far and you'll regret it.

It's saved me some serious hits!

I visualize a project as I bid, I'm very good at that and spacial relations. Thats the only thing that makes it so
I can play live stock charts, my math is not outstanding. Basic math and a calc will suffice if you have pattern recognition. High level math skills are a plus, but will not suffice alone w/ a fast changing chart.
