Are you guys that stupid? These guys and gals on the Olympic level are word class athletes. When you get to a certain point you need more than just your natural talent and "legal" supplements to take you to another level. I see nothing that she did or any other athlete that does this as "wrong". They know they are breaking the law and the rules. It's a chance worth taking with fame and riches as results if successful. Pull your heads out of the ground. We as humans are constantly looking for evolvement. Sports is no diffferent and performance enhancing drugs are our tools.....deal with it.

Sup there Big_Wiggs, I think most people know that a very high % (Not All but a VERY high %) of top level athletes are on gear of some form or another. Look at the TourDeFrance this year, a complete shambles. But with the money involved i cannot say that i blame them, I am a nattie for life but if I was at the top of my sport and needed an extra 5% to make me a Million dollars plus a year.....i would most likely do it too $:-\$ . And the thing is even though we all know these people are "on" it is rarely proven, so when it does come out it's normally big news

No surprise really. I mean her husband was found to be juicing. Theres probably some form of doping in nearly every sport. And a bodybuilding contest would be cleaner than a world class track and field meet. Well maybe not, but pretty close to it anyway.

"all" worldclass track and fielders use drugs. americans for many years pointed fingers at the east germans, the soviets etc.....but they were just as big cheats as the rest of em. its human nature.

carl lewis was just as big cheater as ben johnson....but unlike ben the us track and field association covered up for him (and many other athletes...) as opposed to the canadian federation.

marion would never run sub 11s without illegal drugs in her system. of course she is a talented athlete but you need drugs to get to the top and stay there.

i think marion has had suicide thoughts on many occasions.

I used to be in favor of drug testing in BB and sports overall. However, for practical reasons, it just won't work. Let 'em juice I say.
Elite sport is all about fame , records and $$$ not health anyway.

The surprise here is that there still exists anyone in the US that truly believes that athletes at the Professional/Olympic levels of such hyper-competitive sports could be free of performance-enhcncing substances.

The dopers are ALWAYS going to be one step ahead of the testing agencies.

We have a nation killing itself with alcohol and tobacco, I think our tax dollars would be better served if Congress actually dealt with the shit our kids eat, deaths due to drunk drivers, real drugs, gangs, inner-city violence, poor educational system etc...
