This is the way i see it its has been already cleared that nobody will run a steroids test on humans coz its something that shouldn't be done
therefore this guy claims that they tested "you get more benefits by taking steroids and not train a lot"
am i getting this right???
The study Steele is talking about did happen. You need to study more. There have been a number of studies with steroids being administered in supraphysiological doses in healthy men.
http://www.arthurdevany.com/webstuff/SteroidsNEJM.pdfThe men treated with testosterone but
no exercise had an increase of 3.2 kg in fat-free mass,
and those in the placebo-plus-exercise group had an
increase of 1.9 kg.
Now I know it could be argued that the testosterone group really just put on water through glycogen and creatine increases (which would register as lbm). Interestingly the strength increases were almost identical in both groups, with the exercise group coming out ahead slightly.
