in the past and recent issues of MD, MD is touting Michael Lockett as the next USA champ.

in the most recent feature, MD and michael state that no only he is natural, but plans to compete at 5'9 and 255 lbs. while still being "natural".

FLEX may have dogged the drug issue, but they never claimed so and so was also a natural - esp. trying to become pro and at 5'9 255 lbs. on stage.

There is one MD article where they actually question Lockett's honesty. They know he is full of shit but they still promote him anyway. Like it or not, natural or juiced, the boy is jacked up.

not saying ronnie was not natural, but the IFBB world champions may have been drug tested then.

but ronnie turning pro at 215 lbs. at 5'11 is a lot different than michale lockett saying he's going to come in at 5'9 255 lbs.

but at the team universe, lockett only weighed a bit over 200.

that's a lot different than saying he's going to put on 50 lbs. of muscle in a year without drugs.

They say shocking things and sometimes hit near the truth, and that gets people talking.

Say what you will about their journalism (Palumbo's video stuff has been great the last several months), but those guys are marketing savants.
