....in about 2 minutes for why I don't know. I went over there and they had a thread about squats and squat workouts so I posted mine and got banned.

Anyone else a member over there? I was told that was the place to go for strongman info and to help get training help in regards to it and they ban people out of nowhere?!

My first post and I love what I read in this thread.. Squats are king!!!

Three times a month I'll go

135x10x1
315x10x1
500x10x1
then doubles and triples as high as I can go

once a month I'll make my lower half scream with this workout..

405x20x1
315x20x1
225x20x1
135x20x1 and that last set of 135 is always the worst. ...that's if you don't puke on the floor while holding a squat bar.

I have bad knees but still do full squats. I wrap my them and wear a belt for safety wiht anything over 405 so I know that has to help my heavier squats alot.

KEEP SQUATTING MORE AND MORE!!

strange, i don't see anything wrong with that but i'm guessing they either thought you were joking around with the bold faced type and exclamation points OR they were still very sensitive about how Marunde died doing the high rep drop set squats.

i'm thinking they took the high rep squats teh wrong way..the second I posted it i remember hearing he died doing high rep squats...

They are TOUCHY over there! Ultra religious, which is why I dont go there too often. I usually just read and leave because if you say anything that isnt praise to the original poster, you get demerits, hahaha!

Jesse was known well for his 407x20 squat video. Your mentioning your knees and whatnot and acting like it "aint no thang" may have been taken as disrespect. They're freakin pussies!

Theres one guy who claims to be natural and DLs 805 RAW! He posted a video, see if you can find it. NO ONE is allowed to speak of juice at all over there, so dont bother asking anyone about it.

I was thinking along the same lines as Lift4size..maybe cut downt he BS a bit take the lifts down 20-30% each

For strongman information. I don't want to do powerlifting. I'd rather do strongman..it just seems more fun and it seemed like THE site to get alot of good info at. Obvioulsy getbig isn't exactly the place people come to talk about strongman training.

Sorry but I see no reason to bring my numbers down just to make you sleep better at night and feel better about yourself in the gym. Quit being a bitch and work a little harder!

the site was fine when Jesse was still alive but it looks like they're overreacting to an act of God that would have happened sooner or later anyway, his death would have happened at some point with his congenital problem.

LOL I know which is why I put the smiley at the end...and my form gets a little out there. The last few reps are kinda wobbly cuz I start leaning to the side and favoring one leg over the other it looks like..and the last one on the set of 405 I remmber it was more of a good morning than a squat!

I got down in the hole and my legs barely moved but I stood up with it!

it was in the autopsy report, he did have congenital problems.

Wicked, I would just ask your questions, read the interesting posts, and get the hell out of there. When I went to MM and said 1 thing (ONE thing!) about someone possibly being on the sauce they suspended me. They have boring conversations anyway, not like the constant hazing and belittling that GetBig brings to the table.
