This might've been brought up before.. but I think once a year the UFC should have an open weight tournament  (basically like OWGP from Pride)  I think it would rock... you could see some real cool matchups and it would be a nice pay bonus for the fighters... flame away :p

I would like to see that, but that tournament would have to take place outside the U.S. because we are pretty strict when it comes to weight differences and the safety of fighters.

I'm not a big fan of tournaments as it's too much a lottery and risk of injury is high. Would be cool to see a few single open weight fights though

Shitty US sanctions prevent it from going down here, but I agree the UFC needs to do something.  It seems to me that every show nowadays is getting worse and worse.  They put good fighters on the undercard and pay them shit money.  I alos othink they put on too many shows, when you have 1 show a month you run out of fights.  Thats why we are seeing so many rematches and rubbermatches.  I think they are boring and retarded.
