In bodybuilding, 'site injection' means injecting something into a muscle for the specific purpose of causing inflammation.  regular steroids don't cause inflammation.   the most common steroid used for that is Esiclene.   Esiclene is not a very good steroid for building muscle, but very good at causing temporary inflammation of existing muscle.     But the key word is temporary.  If you stop, the inflammation goes away.
