Why should he move to 205? Make no sense.

Why should he stay at 185? He'll be relegated to gatekeeper status if he stays. He's had his title shots, he won't get them again. He's also a natural 205 and wouldn't have to cut 20+ pounds to make weight. Don't ask me to explain something so trivial to you again.

He won't get title shots at 185, in other words you expect him to get title shots at 205. In other words, you see him as a contender for the 205 title!

What he is saying is if Rich stays at 185 who wants to see him vs. Anderson part 3. NO ONE... He can't beat him and would have a better chacne at winning 2 fights and being a contendet at 205. Do you understand this now. It does make sense..

It's abundantly clear that he has next to no chance of ever getting the belt back at 185. So instead of losing energy and strength cutting to 185, he should move up to a division where he won't be a gate keeper and stands a chance of being a contender like Sincity said. It's absolutely pathetic that we have to explain this to you. And you want to be moderator. HA. The day.

No that's not what he was saying. Don't make adjustments to someone elses comments that's not true. What he said was he won't have a title shot at 185 meaning he believes he will have at 205 which of course is ridiculous.

Actually, I just agreed with Sincity so do me a favor and don't try to put words in my mouth or speak for me again.

Sure you can agree with him but your original post is there - and now you're backing away from it.

Want me to post it again so you can put your foot in your mouth once more? I'd be happy to do it.

Bluto I am pretty sure we both just said the same thing.. I don't know where your reading?

It makes all the sense in the world for Rich to take 6 months off and bulk, get stronger, work on his clinch defense ( he has had his lack of exposed) get back into the game mentally, then come out and eat up a few b class fighters in the 205 division. He could challeange for the title and try to get back to being Ace. I just don't see 185 as a good place for him anymore either. Anderson will always have him in the head. He broke the dudes nose twice both times required surgery and I doubt he want's to fuck with him agian. Plus who wants to see him climb back up and fight a few cans in that weight division. I would rather see him bang it out with the likes of Houston Alexander and Jardine.  ;D ;D

Show me in my post where I said he can fight Rampage for the 205 title? Do it and I'll delete my account. How about if you can't find it, Ron deletes yours?

Fighting in 205 is one thing, being a contender is another. There's far too many fighters in his way that would chew him up.

Like who? You were sucking his dick months ago. UFC fighters are superior according to you. He should have no problem chewing up the likes of Shogun and Rampage and other Pride fighters.

You know nothing. No one has seem him fight at his natural weight so you can't really say. Either way, it's better than being turned into a gatekeeper and never having a chance at the title. What's so hard to understand, retard?

What the hell you talking about? Is this another of those threads where you just make up stories along the way?

You think Franklin is title material in 205.

That's bullshit. Plain and simple.

no it's not, franklin might bring something different to that division for one...

and for two,he has nowhere to go @185 as long as anderson's there, rich's style was made to order for the guy holding the belt,it only makes sense to look for greener pastures

What would that "something different" be?

If Anderson is in the way of the belt in 185, you think he would have an easier task against Rampage.

And that's just insane. Sorry to break it to you.

I'm pretty certain after the beatin he took, the only way franklins gonna generate any interest is if he moves up....

i'd be interested in a ton of matchups with him at 205

Like I said the jardine, Houston Alexander route would be good, I wouldn't mind seeing Tito either, and you have Forrest. I think Rich could put a show with all these guys, Rashad Evans, bisbing, Matt Hammil. I think he would sell tickets vs. any of these guys. Plus he has a good chance at winning I think.

Exactly. As of right now, he's going to be nothing more than a gatekeeper at 205. He's had his shots at that belt, he won't deserve nor get another. What's the point in staying there when he's got the potential to do some damage at 205?
