You honestly think that Rich Franklin if he moved up to 205, would stand a chance at becoming a contender for the 205 belt.

What have you been smoking? Do you know who's fighting at 205?

No I believe he said it makes more sense for him to move up to 205.. No where in any post does it say that Rich could beat Rampage. I don't even think his name was mentioned. It was said that he needs to move up in weight since he wont get another title shot at anderson, and if he does he won't win. So why not take a shot at the 205 class. It does make sense unlike you spamming this board with bullshit like this.

If he moves up, why would he not stand a chance? As you've stated before, the UFC fighters are superior. Surely a former multi-year champion should have no problem challenging. The fact of the matter is that he is not going to get another title shot at 185. He's going to be a gatekeeper from here on out if he stays. He has to cut a lot of weight to make weight and would be more at home at 205. If he busted his ass, I could see him working towards a title shot. Now shut the hell up and give it a rest.

Contender to me means top 3 or 4. What happens when the number one contender loses. The next guy in line steps up. For christ sakes a year ago that division had monkey ass babalou as a contender.. I dont need to defend anyone. I dont know if it is possible to defend someone who is winning?

Exactly. I look at a contender as top 5 or so. Guys that are better than most and deserve some form of a title shot. This is Bluto with his back against the wall trying to save himself from further embarrassment. It's sad.

You're saying that he should not stay at 185 BECAUSE "he had his title shots, he won't get them again"

as REASON to go to 205 was that he would get there, what he wont at 185 - title shots = meaning he would get title shot at 205.
