there's little or no shame in losing to 2 guys that are ranked in the top ten in that class (sherk & diaz) and joe riggs is no slouch either, his last fight in the UFC was a win over Neer so that's probably NOT why he's not under contract

even his brother nate said nick was gettin screwed over by the UFC after he won the TUF final right to rogans face on TV

who knows though,maybe you're right ?

still say a win over the guy they consider #1 should at least get ya in the door of that top ten

All the fights he lost were to top notch guys in close decisions.  He destroyed Gomi in an epic battle.  I like Nick.  A real STREET fighter in the CAGE.

UFC is just another IFBB.

UFC is just another american corporation where only the selected few REALLY make the money, you start out low on the totem poll and you work your way up just like any other free enterprise....

I'm pretty sure at this point dana dos'nt even look at MMA as a sport, sure he markets it as a sport, and he'll tell you it's a sport, but I'm fairly sure at his levels it's HIS business...... and he'll let his fighters call it a sport, and he'll let the fans call it a sport

id like to see what the payment is in boxing, if we dont talk about the big names but the undercards and the payment for those coming off 3 losses in a row etc...

i wonder if its that high.

absolutely. undercards in boxing make atleast 20k. if they are ppv i am sure they are in the 6 figure range. the embarrassment with the ufc is that the MIDDLEWEIGHT CHAMPION OF THE WORLD made 120k.

really. in every organization?

and besides, boxing been around forever. and a lot of money over the years been poured into that, where as ufc is still new.

over time the payments will rise.
