after the Addie / finger incident did it take for the pain to go away?

once I had an accident while "hitting" it from behind. it took about a week for the tenderness to completely go away.

I'm just trying to be helpful . . . but I've never broken a finger (even though I play rugby).

It still hasn't.

Well, it is not constant now, but it does have days where it swells up a bit and really really throbs. Still can't bend it all the way.

It was over a year before I had some days when their wasn't a lot of pain.

I think I have gotten used to it having minor discomfort as a constant dull pain and now really just notice the flare ups. Sometimes the flare ups can hurt pretty bad! I have at least one bad pain day a week.

Did you hurt your finger? $:-\$

Now I am thinking about it and it hurts!!

The cold sucks, I think STella was going to knit me a finger cozy for it?

i guess . . . it took me a while to get my mind in the right place after that experience. whenever i'd get a good head of steam, I'd suddenly remember the pain . . . effed up my rhythm.

2 of them - right hand pinky and ring fingers. Scout got a little rambunctious last night and

A rope was involved. I'm sure he and several of the neighbors heard things they never have before

!@$#^&@ it hurt ~ and still does. Not nearly as bad as yours tho. Only one nail broke

There's really nothing to see. They're a little swollen and there's some bruising, but it's not real noticeable. Hurts like a muther tho. $:-\$

It's gotten much better. Still sore, but usable.

Well, it never did heal. Clearly a ruptured tendon. Looks like a hammer finger $:-\$ Hurts when it's cold. Finally saw an ortho today. A piece of bone was also torn off in the process

. 8 Weeks in a splint. Can't take it off at all or the healing process has to start all over. Typing is a bitch.

Mine will never be the same!! In fact today is a "bad" day. I am going to put some arnica gel on it which sometimes helps.

I hope yours heals better than mine! It sucks!!

That's what I should tell him - If you are gonna bite me, bite this finger cause it is already messed up.
