On the female board she is great, but this is the fkn V, not a girly board. Do you think her and DP being chums merits her a spot on here? What is YOUR position on deleting people because she doesn't like them? What do you think about her stealing a thread off of the glorious Y board only to clean up all the negative posts, even though it was about 98% positive?

my point is that modship isn't actually control of the board. you don't have absolute control of content and participation, just the ability to clean up when things get out of line. why did rude and kiwi get it initially? they were squad buddies. people asked block to get on in the Y because they were friends. this isn't a commonwealth government, it's a message board. nepotism's the name of the game.

No resentment, I happen to think female training boards are stupid, but I post on the board she mods because I like to support her. I too would like to still be able to post here, but I am at risk of being deleted now too. If she is going to delete BF, why not me? or maybe you?

Disagreeing more would be difficult.

The posters make up the board. That's why they're called moderators instead of facillitators. A lot of Mods can't get this simple fucking idea through their heads and then start ego-tripping. I like Rip plenty but a regular V poster should have been made Mod. I said the exact same thing when DP was modded and feel he was more of a Y board guy all along.

A mod should make sure people don't abuse the forum or create circumstances that prevent the largest number of posters possible fron enjoying it. Ron doesn't care about the alphabet boards beyond the x because they'll cry and moan until he gives in. If he did care about the alphabet boards there would have been changes made when 240 went ballistic, BSB wanted to merge it with the Y, "bluto" went merge crazy and moving threads. He didn't even give a fuck when Kiwi refused to mod and all the V posters asked for Rude to be reinstated. Just figured everyone would move to the Y so why bother?

Considering the past disregard of the V & Y boards, Ron making Rip a mod makes perfect sense. he probably figures she's modding elsewhere without any real complaints so what's the harm since unhappy posters have 40 other forums anyways.

honestly if rip dont go all delete happy then she will be fine but i do agree with danny in the time i modded the v i took down one thing it was child porn so other than that i never did delete a dam thing

as far as i know, rip deleted a whopping three posts so far. all of them were berzerk's and all of them in one thread, and she did that just to make him throw a temper tantrum. surprise surprise, that's exactly what he did, immediately going back over onto the Y to cry about it.

now if i'm wrong, then tell me. but i've not seen anything disappear aside from a handful of posts in rip's "hey guys!" thread.
